Meet the PTO Members
Our mission is to build a strong, supportive school community by fostering communication between families and staff, organizing events that bring us together, and providing resources that enhance learning and school spirit.
Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and community engagement, our PTO helps support classroom needs, school improvement initiatives, enrichment programs, and memorable experiences for students and families. Every parent and guardian is automatically a member —no dues required— because we believe we’re strongest when we work together.

President
Jesse Reynolds
Jesse lives in Ft. Thomas with her husband, Jared, and their four kids. She grew up in Ohio, graduated from Wright State University with her Bachelors in HR, then met a KY boy in her late 20s, they got married, lived in Germany for a bit and had their first baby there and then decided to come back to Ft Thomas to raise their family. She is a SAHM and loves raising her kids here. She has served in various board positions on the Ft Thomas MOMS Club when her kids were little. Once her oldest started at Woodfill, she began volunteering at the school in various roles as she believes being connected to your child's teachers and staff allows for a richer school environment. She is very thankful for the amazing teachers and staff we have here and her goal is to help make their days a little easier and brighter in whatever role she is serving in. In her spare time she is an avid reader, loves hiking, her animals, and drinking a crisp Diet Coke.
1st VP - Fundraising (Spirit Wear)
Erin Comfort
Erin lives in Fort Thomas and currently oversees early learning centers and before- and after-school programs in Campbell County. She earned her degree in Professional Counseling and Early Childhood Development from Liberty University and has dedicated her career to helping children, families, and educators thrive. As the Spirit Wear Coordinator for the PTO, Erin loves finding creative ways to build school pride and bring people together. She believes that strong connections between home, school, and community make all the difference in a child’s growth and confidence. Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and soaking up all the wonderful things Fort Thomas has to offer.

Ann Lubbers
Ann is a Woodfill graduate herself. She is mom to three boys, two of which currently attend Woodfill. One of her favorite Woodfill memories is emceeing the talent show. She and her husband are long-time Fort Thomas residents and Highlands graduates. Ann now works in the architecture field and enjoys sharing her passion with students at Woodfill. In her free time she enjoys coaching soccer, flipping houses, and traveling with her family. She volunteers for the PTO to help raise funds to keep the tradition of excellence at Woodfill alive!

Bailey Garnick
Bailey grew up in Fort Thomas and was very excited to get the opportunity to move back after traveling with her husband while he was Active Duty. They have two daughters, one in Kindergarten and a two year old. Bailey graduated from the University of Kentucky where she earned her degree in Communications with a minor in Theatre Arts. Bailey is thrilled to be a part of the Woodfill Community and feels very lucky to get to raise her kids in this amazing town!
2nd VP - Big Top Festival
Kelly Gindele
Kelly Gindele is a proud mom of four kids who have all gone through Woodfill. She started volunteering back in 2012 when her oldest began kindergarten and has loved being involved ever since. Over the years, she’s enjoyed helping out in many different ways and has found it so meaningful to get to know the amazing kids, teachers, staff, and families that make the Woodfill community so special.

Emma Daniels
Emma Daniels is a proud parent of three children at Woodfill. She enjoys spending time with her family and is passionate about giving back to the school community. Whether helping in the classroom or supporting school events, Emma loves volunteering as a way to stay involved in her children’s education and help make Woodfill an even better place for all students to learn and grow.

Abbey Sanford
Abbey Sanford has three children, two of which are Woodfill, in Second Grade and Kindergarten! She is a transplant from Northwest Indiana, but has been in Northern Kentucky for 12 years. Abbey loves reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family. She really enjoys being involved at Woodfill and supporting the students and staff!
7th VP - Connections Coordinator
Jamie Ward
Jamie is the proud mom to Everly, who’s in 5th grade. She’s an Account Director who enjoys being involved in the school community, supporting PTO events, and cheering Everly on in volleyball and all her adventures.
8th VP - Technology
Megan Peterson
Megan moved to Fort Thomas from Virginia Beach in 2025. She is a Navy Veteran and has been stationed in California, Italy, and Japan! She received her Master's Degree in International Sustainable Tourism from the University of North Texas and studied abroad in Costa Rica. She currently works remotely as a SharePoint Developer for a U.S. Army Command. Her daughter is in 3rd grade. She is also a breast cancer survivor! She enjoys dogs, traveling, and supporting local businesses.
Communications Secretary
Crimson MacDonald
Crimson has called Fort Thomas home for the past 18 years and is a proud Woodfill & HMS mom. A local business owner and longtime community advocate, Crimson loves finding ways to use her experience in communications and community engagement to support Woodfill and its families. She serves as the PTO Communications Secretary and especially enjoys helping families stay connected to all the events, opportunities, and little things that make Woodfill such a special place. Most of all, she loves being involved in the school community and helping create a great experience for every Woodfill kid.

Treasurer
Jessica Kremer
Jessica Kremer has lived in Fort Thomas since 2010. She and her husband, a Highlands graduate, have four children who attend Woodfill. As a CPA with a degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, Jessica enjoys using her professional experience to support the school. She has been an active volunteer since her oldest started kindergarten in 2020 and can often be found helping in classrooms or the library. Jessica loves volunteering as a way to stay involved and support her children’s education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and reading.

Mr. John Gesenhues
Mr. John Gesenhues, "Mr. G", is the current principal of Woodfill Elementary. He began serving as principal in July 2022 after being assistant principal for the five previous years at Woodfill.
Teacher Representative
Allyson Jones
Allyson Jones: I have been teaching for over 20 years here at Woodfill! My husband Shelby is a Second Grade teacher here as well, and our daughter, Andie, is a Fifth Grader. We love being Woodfill Wildcats! I especially love being a teacher and a mom here. It is such a special place, and I have been lucky enough to teach a variety of grades during my career, mainly my time has been spent in Third Grade and currently Kindergarten. I love to dance, read, and spend time with our family and friends. My favorite thing is being Andie’s number one cheerleader!
